Hornby’s Wayne Dennis, who has worked as a bus driver with Red Bus, for over 30 years, has been named Metro Bus Driver of the Month. He was nominated by a Dunedin woman who was catching the bus Wayne was driving to the airport. Read more about him here.
Environment Canterbury and bus companies, Leopard Coachlines and Christchurch Bus Services are undertaking a six month trial to assess the usefulness of cycle racks fitted to buses. The trial period is from Monday 12 November 2007 to 11 May 2008.
