As a result of public feedback, we've improved some of our Metro routes. These changes include more direct services and better frequency. Some routes have a new operator, so the colour of your bus will have changed.

Please note: Due to new buses ordered by operators not being ready for service, temporary buses are being used on some routes. A number of the temporary buses have entry steps and do not have bike racks. The new buses will be on the road as soon as possible. Thanks for your understanding and patience.

• 5 Hornby - Southshore
  Route remains the same, new timetable and operator.

• 51 Tower Junction - Aranui
  Change of route, no longer uses Pages Rd and Shortland St. Buses will travel on Kerrs Rd and Wainoni Rd between Buckleys and Breezes Rd. New timetable increasing frequency to every 30 minutes Monday to Friday and new operator. Services to and from Tower Junction for Tranz Scenic passengers.

• 81 Lincoln
  Route remains the same, new timetable and operator. Increased frequency for Saturdays and public holidays. Lincoln to City trips will not pick-up passengers after Church Corner (drop-offs only), City to Lincoln trips will not drop-off any passengers before Church Corner (pick-ups only).

• 88 Rolleston
  New service to the Metro network providing a 30 minute frequency Monday to Saturday from the City to Templeton and Rolleston. Sunday services will run hourly. Rolleston to City trips will not pick-up passengers after Church Corner (drop-offs only), City to Rolleston trips will not drop-off passengers before Church Corner (pick-ups only).

• 820 Burnham - Lincoln
  via Rolleston
  New service connecting Burnham, Rolleston, Springston and Lincoln. 60 minute frequency Monday to Saturday and a service every 2 hours on Sundays. Timetable and route information is included in both the 81 and 88 timetables.
