We made some sensible improvements to the Christchurch Metro Service including greater frequency, route extensions, more direct routes, and new services.

Lots of routes changed. Be sure to check yours or ring us on 366 88 55.

If you use any of these old Metro services, you will be affected:

Check your timetable for route changes, timetable changes and bus operator changes. If you use the City Bus Exchange, check your new timetable for the platform departure location.

Belfast residents will have the option of buses to the city via Cranford St (No.16) or via Papanui Rd (No.8). You will no longer be able to use the Northern Star service, as the express section will be extended to Factory Rd. ie no drop-offs before Factory Rd outbound (from the city) and no pick-ups inbound (to the city) from Factory Rd.
