Bike Racks on Metro Buses: Loading
  1. Loading of bikes is only permitted at Metro
    bus stops. Bikes can’t be loaded or unloaded
    at the city Bus Exchange.

  2. Before the bus arrives remove water
    bottles, pumps and any loose items that
    may fall off while the bus is moving.

  3. Inform the driver you will be loading your
    bike. Load from the curbside in front of
    the bus .

  4. Squeeze handle on bike rack to
    release latch and fold down bike
    rack.

  5. Lift bike onto rack, fit your front
    and back wheels into clearly
    labelled slots.

  6. Raise the Support Arm up and
    over the front tyre so the hook
    rests at the highest point on the
    front wheel.
